Qld:Police in contact with driver of car which hit triathlete

BRISBANE, Jan 13 AAP - The 40-year-old woman identified as driving a stolen car whichhit triathlete Luke Harrop has been in contact with authorities, police said.
Acting Detective Inspector Bob Bennett said the woman had been identified as havingfled the accident scene on the Gold Coast early yesterday morning.
"We have had some communication with her today and she wishes to come in and speakwith us," Insp Bennett said.
"We're attempting to stage a meeting with her now."
