Vic: Seven years jail for restaurateur over slow service death

MELBOURNE, Feb 27 AAP - A Melbourne restaurant owner who stabbed and killed a patron
who complained about slow service has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

But the Victorian Supreme Court heard today that Khanh Vo could be eligible for release
from jail by 2010.

Vo, 35, of Ivanhoe, grabbed a paring knife from the kitchen of his restaurant in the
Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford and stabbed Anh Dung Nguyen during the fight on April 16,
2006.

He pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Nguyen, …
